Everything about this hotel was first class. Beautiful hotel, immaculate cleaning, and wonderful staff. As a Titanium Elite Lifetime member we were given a very nice upgraded room and treated very well. The locations is very good, walking distance to everything in central Rome and yet still in a quiet corner.

This was a splendid hotel with exceptional service. The staff was amazing and attentive to all details and requests, especially the professional concierge Massimo. Massimo helped expertly plan our 5- day stay to take in all the main attractions and made excellent recommendations and reservations for dinner. He made us feel like family and made our stay memorable and efficient. The breakfast buffet was amazing and even included a real honeycomb. We had evening turndown service with fresh bottles of water and chocolates. The towels and robes and toiletries were of very high quality. For my special birthday they surprised me with a lovely cake and bottle of prosecco! This hotel provides the high quality amenities and service that Marriott used to provide 30 years ago. I would stay here again and again!

My trip to Italy was made truly fantastic because of this hotel. It is located in a clean, safe, and elegant neighborhood in Rome, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Upon check-in, Mamissimo, the concierge, greeted us warmly and provided a map of the area—such a genuinely kind and welcoming person. Our room was spotlessly clean, featuring beautiful hardwood floors and high ceilings. The king-sized bed, linens, and towels were all of exceptional quality and extremely comfortable. We especially loved the nightly turndown service, which included fresh towels, bottled water, and chocolates—a wonderful touch. The service at this Marriott far exceeded any Marriott I’ve stayed at in the United States, and I spend over 150 nights per year in hotels. In fact, the level of service was comparable to a Ritz-Carlton. The food was also outstanding. We enjoyed breakfast every morning, where Morena and her team were consistently attentive and friendly. We also dined at the restaurant for dinner on three evenings—the chef was clearly talented, and the servers were excellent and attentive each time. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at this Marriott. Its old-world charm, exceptional service, and outstanding staff made it an unforgettable experience.

It was terrible from the start to beginning. The room service closes at 11pm and there is nothing available for drink or for food. Very dirty rooms and very rude service.

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott Grand Flora for a week. We were upgraded to a larger room (my wife is Platinum), which was nice. Our rate included breakfast. Please excuse me for discussing it perhaps too much, but it was superb. The dining room on the seventh floor affords a spectacular view of Rome. The buffet was outstanding, including eggs any way desired, dairy such as yogurt, cheese, and milk, coffee and tea, fresh fruits, vegetables, and nuts, various meats and fish, and bread, croissants, rolls, and pastries. The main reason I thought so highly of the dining experience, however, was because of the staff. Morena, the hostess, is a consummate professional, hardworking and assisting her staff in all aspects of the job. Incredibly kind to my wife and me, she did her utmost to make us feel welcome, and as honored guests. We won't forget her. I would be remiss if I did not also thank the dedicated, considerate, and diligent servers, including Romina, Kimberly, Donatella, and Roan. All did their very best to assist us. Their professionalism is truly appreciated. The last night of our stay, my wife and I had dinner in the first-floor bar and dining room. The helpfulness of our server, Lorenzo, as well as the high quality of the food, made it memorable. I also want to thank the front desk and concierges for their patience in meeting our needs and answering our many questions. All were great, including Jacobo, Isabella, Massimo, and Stefania. My wife and I are especially grateful to Stefania for recommending that we visit the Castel Sant'Angelo. Finally, the maids, the bell hops, and the front door attendants, were all so courteous and strove mightily to please. They succeeded beyond our expectations.

This is the finest Marriott I have ever stayed in. An abundance of old school charm and elegance combined with modern style. However, it’s the service that is exceptional; from the smiling doormen to the outstanding staff in the restaurants. I genuinely couldn’t fault it. I afford a pecial mention to Alessio the restaurant manager in the restaurant; he couldn’t be more charming and professional and he just makes things work all with consummate ease. The food and wine is delicious- so good that I dined there two night in a row. The second on business as it’s a calm atmosphere with subtle live piano music- a really wonderful ambience. My room was lovely - albeit an internal view but hey… with a rooftop bar with spectacular views, why hang around in one’s room? The room was clean and full of nice simple touches- very good quality toiletries and immaculately cleaned by the cheery ladies. All in all this made my business trip an absolute pleasure and drum roll … in my quest for the finest negroni in Italy… this was number 2! Just pipped by the Eden! Stay, dine, rest and relax. We debated this hotel or the Excelsior down the block but chose here for the rooftop bar. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Allessio and Nickolas were so charming and attentive in the bar and restaurant. And Hannah was great at check-in. We love this area of Rome. Much quieter and upscale - less touristy too. We went to the rooftop almost nightly to enjoy the view and sunset. The same at breakfast for the early morning sunshine. We ate dinner here one evening and it was good. Our room was spacious for Europe and the bathroom modern.

Excellent hotel - we couldn’t have asked for better. We found it was similar to Marriott park lane in location, service, comfort. Thank you Giancarlo for being so helpful every time we interacted with you - he is an asset to the hotel. Our room 614 was spacious, lots of storage, comfortable bed, great bathroom. Cleaning service was exceptional - in fact we hardly saw them hut it was done every time we went - thank you - I hope our tip gets to you. Rooftop bar is fantastic- great views at breakfast as well as at night. Breakfast buffet is very good and well worth it - Brea and others were lovely. Drinks at night were also very good with a nice breeze as it’s situated in a hill. Location is fantastic, villa Borghese is just behind. Trevi fountain and Spanish steps a 15min walk down the hill. Colosseum is 40 min walk down the hill. Great local restaurants nearby. We will definitely return. Thank you again for all of the great service and welcome from everybody.

We had a fantastic stay at the Rome Marriott Grand Hotel Flora. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, and memorable. A special thank you to Morena, the breakfast hostess, who always greeted me by name each morning—a small touch that made a big positive difference. At the reception, Marco and Jacopo were outstanding. They were professional, welcoming, and always ready to help. I also want to recognize Flavia, the resident manager and Debora, from groups and events who went above and beyond by providing a wonderful amenity in my room. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made me feel truly valued as a guest. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Rome, but it’s the team who make it exceptional. Thank you and I can’t wait to come back!

I have stayed at over a dozen hotels in Rome over the years. My ultimate choice, and one I keep returning to, is Rome Marriott Grand Hotel Flora. Not because of it many many wonderful features, but because of one aspect that no other hotel has come close to: the staff. From the Front Desk Team to the Concierges to the Breakfast Manager to the Room Manager all the way up to the General Manager, much of the staff have been working at the hotel for years. They frequent remember guests, often by name, and they consistently go out of their way to each stay special. This is the true mark of a five star hotel, and the reason I recommend it to all my family, friends and business colleagues. One of the other factors that make it a great hotel is the location. You can’t do better than Via Veneto, but this hotel does because it’s at the top. The hotel is directly across the street from the underground Spanish Steps subway stop passage. This passage is also short cut to the Spanish Steps, which is great if it rains or in the winter if it is cold. Additionally, being at the top of Via Veneto it some rooms and the overlooks Villa Borghese. Which brings me to other unique feature of the hotel; its rooftop, where breakfast is served in the morning and cocktails at night. It is one, if not, the only rooftop with an unobstructed view of Rome. It is so beautiful that guests have had their weddings here. The hotel also features a variety of room types to accommodate various different guest needs, many of which I have stayed in. Even the basic rooms are well appointed and kept in meticulous condition. They have the classic feel of the original hotel while updating them with modern features such as hardwood floors, some even have whirlpool tubs, balconies and hot tubs. The breakfast buffet is one of the best around and I can’t think of anything they are missing. Moreover, they keep adding new items to keep up with current food trends. All this, and as I mentioned, the staff makes for a great stay. So make Flora your choice as it is one you will not forget or regret. È così bello che certe ospiti abbiano avuto i loro matrimoni qui. L'hotel anche ha varietà di tipologie di camere per soddisfare varie esigenze diverse degli ospiti. Anche le camere di base sono ben arredate e tenute in condizioni meticolose. Hanno l'atmosfera classica dell'hotel originale mentre li aggiornano con caratteristiche moderne come pavimenti in legno, alcuni hanno anche vasche idromassaggio, e balconi. La colazione a buffet è una delle migliori in circolazione e non riesco a pensare a nulla che gli manchi. Inoltre, continuano ad aggiungere nuovi articoli per stare al passo con le attuali tendenze alimentari. Tutto questo, specialmente il personale, rende un ottimo soggiorno. Quindi fai Flora la tua scelta perché è una scelta che non dimenticherai o rimpiangerai.

From check-in to checkout this hotel was amazing. The staff were kind, helpful and respectful. My room provided a wonderful place to rest and revitalise at the end of a day of exploring Rome. It was modern and spacious with a beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean bathroom. The rooftop bar and restaurant are a real standout. No better way to end the day than with a glass of Prosecco watching the sun set over this ancient city. Thank you Marriott Grand Hotel Flora for making my nights in Rome so special.

Stayed two nights in the spacious Presidential Suite at the end of our vacation. While well-appointed it was a little dated and you could see some wear and tear in the bathroom area. The view of the park however, was very nice and the bed was super comfortable. We appreciated the peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist attractions. The service is what really stood out - the front desk, concierge, cleaning staff, and doormen were all friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the treats that were waiting for us on arrival!

Nice location close to all the downtown attractions. Only a few metres from a beautiful old wall. Slick check and given a welcome drink at the rooftop bar. The rooftop also serves as the breakfast reataurant and the views are amazing. Superb service from Romina and Bea. Chef Katerina made the perfect omlette. It's the little things that make a stay. The staff at this hotel are excellent. Would come back.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was so kind and welcoming. They really made us feel special. In addition, they helped me with a few surprises (flowers, champaign, etc.) for my bride upon arrival. The hotel/room was very clean and elegant. There is a rooftop restaurant and bar with breathtaking views. Centrally located as well. For example, the Colosseum is only about 2.5 miles away. Highly recommend Flora for a romantic getaway or just a regular visit to Rome!

Hotel Flora truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—special thanks to Hannah and Luca for their warmth and attentiveness. The rooms, while cozy as is typical in Europe, were absolutely spotless and the beds were so comfortable we slept better than we have in years. The rooftop terrace is a hidden gem: peaceful, beautifully set, and the perfect place to unwind. Even though the food itself was fairly simple, enjoying it with that backdrop made every meal memorable. The location turned out to be ideal. It’s not right in the heart of the city, but that’s exactly what we loved. Being on the elegant Via Veneto meant we could enjoy wide, quiet streets without the chaos of the crowded city center. And with Spagna metro station just across the street—and uber or scooters readily available—we could get anywhere quickly and easily. We left with wonderful memories and will 100% return to Hotel Flora on our next trip.

The Grand Flora Marriott is a well maintained hotel with exceptional customer service. Checking in was smooth with the help of Anna. Massimo was friendly, engaging and provided excellent restaurant recommendations and reservations. Bea was sweet and attentive during the morning breakfast buffet. I never waited more than 4 minutes for a taxi with the help of the door men. The room was clean and nicely cooled w/ the A/C. I would certainly stay again next time I’m in Rome!

Located across from the Villa Borghese gardens, across the street from famous Harry’s restaurant, and a block from the American embassy. Our spacious room ( we used certificates to upgrade) faced the via Veneto street. The room was a little dated, the front staff check in were a bit off putting, but the breakfast on the top floor overlooking Rome was the best part. There the staff and breakfast offerings were top notch …. Tables with white crisp tablecloths, coffee presented as you like and many many delicious pastries, breads, yogurts, egg dishes etc to choose from. Have your own change for tips as the hotel staff could not change bills. And be careful ordering late night meals on the upstairs terrace…. One night we ordered 1/2 hour before closing and the waitress left and forgot our meal

Excellent stay at the Grand Flora! This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Jacob greeted up upon arriving and provided stellar service during our entire stay. Anything we needed/requested, he was happy to accommodate. He is passionate about his job and it shows. Kudos to Jacob. Breakfast was phenomenal! A wonderful selection of just about anything you would like. Service was exceptional. Drinks on the terrace are a must. The views are phenomenal and when it cools down at night, it's not to be missed. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very nice hotel in Rome! Not necessarily in the center of Rome but a very short walk to the Spanish Steps and other iconic Rome sites. The rooftop breakfast was amazing (both the view and the food!). The rooms were very nice- small bathrooms but that’s typical for European hotels. Overall very nice especially with helpful staff and a beautiful hotel.

Reasonably good location

We are back again this year after a wonderful stay last year. Once arising the staff are very friendly. There is a luxurious side to the hotel. Excellent bedding and amenities. Super great, high quality breakfast and other meals at the rooftop/top- floor restaurant. Location is superb, with most of the city’s top attractions being within walking distance, and a large adjacent park with a playground for kids and a nice zoo.

Hotel location is fantastic as is the staff.. No complaints… My husband and I are both Titanium so the free breakfast was an added benefit.. The concierge, Messimo was beyond helpful as was all the staff… the only negative.. Nothing in the room worked.. the TV, hairdryer. Telephone, and all outlets with the exception of one were dead.. The maintenance person was able to fix some of this problem with the throw of a switch but the following evening it was back to square one.. -tried to order room service and completely unable - the phone would not dial room service.. As titanium we have both spend many many nights in a Marriott hotel while the staff is amazing the electronics support leaves much to be desired.

We had a wonderful 3 day stay at the Marriott Grand Flora in Rome. The staff were amazing, especially the concierge, Massimo. He arranged a tour car for us and gave us wonderful advice and suggestions. The hotel is a short walk from the Trevi Fountain and other sites. They have a rooftop restaurant/bar that has a panoramic view of the city and a delicious breakfast. Definitely a five star experience!

What a beautiful hotel & lovely people at the reception! They helped us plan our itinerary around the city! Their tips for the sightseeing were most helpful! They were pretty warm & professional! The hotel is very conveniently located.. a walking distance from all the major monuments. The neighborhood was good! Wish the bathrooms were a little bigger in the hotel though. It was kinda cramped! But the room size was good. Over all, an amazing experience!

So we are Titanium members and this time we had to stay in Rome because of an emergency for 12 days ! So we chose Flora because it is like home, we know from previous experience . We had an early check In thanks to Marco in reception & Massimo , the room was 614 ! Good space ( the bathroom has a little tiny problem with the water on the hand washer ) nothing really bad ! Like always also Gabrielle this time in the mornings very welcoming us back. He us great, at reception The room is very comfortable and dark at nite ! The bed very nice to rest, beautiful view.from balcony. The first day I told the housekeeper what I needed and all went well.the whole week and more. Lucia is an amazing person and careful on detail , understanding the language and her smile is magnificent! Beautiful person . Monica also very caring. Same as Maria and Lida. Jericho is effective and rapid and very intelligent to solve the requests from room service and bar. Breakfast service well the food is not the best it lacks originality and variety on the protein section and the turkey sausages are really bad, as the whole , cooked part in general not good ! The eggs on buffet too, not at all apealing ro taste and eyes. Samobars overcook all. The salmon was good and hams too ! Yogurts were really nice. And the rest was ok but I always asked for fresh eggs ( scramble , fried or omelette) but the chef needs to step up on cooking! Not good hand ! All looks overcooked and dry,specifically I am picky because I only eat protein and veggies ( never grains or flours or sweet, or fruit)! So it was a little boring for me ! But all can be forgave, because service is very good ! Morena is very careful and up to date and Team work, ! Romina a joy of kindness and fast understanding! Loved her . Donatella is very nice and respectful. Cinzia is also so nice and careful… Rudita amazing she remembers us from last time a beautiful smile of good morning . One day a girl Federica was , also , there nice good! And well . The coffee and lattes are really tasty well done. Also at check out reception Luca was nice and fast at 3 am . Misa at the door help me inmediately with my luggage thank you . Others I remember by crossing , Malik Maria wells Stephanie Marco from breakfast even though is serious is a good worker. The doormans were nice even though I do not know their names. We have been to more than 100 hotels in the world so I can say that Flora made me feel at Home. For so many days. The bar is a nice place ! The restaurant looked sad so never went in , power up the atmosphere . The persons in charge (blonde women and a man ) never really approached us to get a feed back a lack of opportunity to be better , even though we crossed daily! For more than 20 yrs now , of loyalty members, it would be nice for managers sometimes to greet, they could learn a lot from our experiences, they are all over the place but not quite there . Ps- The bathroom on the roof top is always loosing water and sometimes it gets stuck just in case . The only sad thing is that no nespresso machine in the rooms,but well is ok . Flora can grow more since is in a beautiful place and distance & beautiful building. But Thank you FLORA and all the workers son magníficos ( in my heart) y hacen que la estadía sea bella a pesar de todo lo pequeño por aquí y por ahi. Volveremos otra vez ! Back soon. Great service from Roan Saverio Morena at the rooftop restaurant for breakfast. The rooms were small but comfortable if you get a superior room. Could have been better with an upgrade. The restaurant was quite expensive but the concierge was kind enough to send us to some nice restaurants around the hotel. Bill Hendricks

Excellent hotel. Hotel was walking distance from the Spanish steps. A bit of a walk to get to Colosseum, however not a problem if you are a normal walker. Breakfast buffet on the rooftop is highly recommended. Concierge staff were over the top helpful and worth their weight in gold. Bar/lounge service was exemplary. I would stay at this hotel again with no hesitation. Great choice.

The Beautiful location of this hotel in Rome is just so beautiful. The roof top views are just breathtaking, lovely, kind and attentive staff. Amazing rooms and the most comfortable beds. Really lovely experience with Marriott Flora for our first time in Rome.

Hotels-in particular those in the great cities of the world-have a presence all their own. It's the staff providing the personality and individual charm that separates one from the other. The location is tough to beat-literally across the street from one of Rome's great parks (Borghese Park-and the not-to miss Borghese Gallery) A mile walk from the central train station (Or Uber) and a beautiful downhill stroll to the great landmarks of Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and on. The rooftop breakfast and bar...well let's just say you'll find yourself enjoying la dolce vida in no time. Classic and beautiful. Rooms are truly classic without being dated. No, it's not a "W" or something more modern or hip-because that's not what the Grand Flora is about. It's a reminder that sometimes "old school" is still cool school. The staff, from the GM Flavia and concierge Stephanie were amazing, and everyone has a sense of anticipating requests and meeting them with a flair. First trip to Rome-and it will not be our last....thanks to the Grand Flora

The property is in a central location, close to historic landmarks as well as incredible dining. The staff was gracious and knowledgeable, offering helpful advice. The breakfast menu and rooftop location made for a stunning start to the day. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with luxury and comfort.
